Zumo features in fourth Global Standards Mapping Initiative from the Global Blockchain Business Council.
In the ever-evolving realm of blockchain and digital assets, staying informed is not just an advantage – it’s a necessity. Zumo is delighted to have collaborated with the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) and more than 70 industry leaders in contributing to the Global Standards Mapping Initiative (GSMI). Now in its fourth iteration, the GSMI is the most comprehensive industry-focused effort to map and analyse the blockchain and digital assets landscape across key evolving areas.
Published to support the advancement of common standards to enable adoption, incentivize continued innovation, and advance collaboration, GSMI 4.0 offers a comprehensive overview of the blockchain and digital assets industry across key dimensions. This year’s edition covers legislation and regulatory developments across 230 jurisdictions and 6 global bodies, 350 taxonomy terms and definitions, 63 bodies advancing technical standards and 1500+ courses from accredited educational institutions, as well as focus analyses on four key emerging themes: convergence of blockchain with artificial intelligence, digital identity, supply chain, and sustainability.
As one of this year’s key themes, sustainability continues to be a driving force on the global agenda well outside of the digital asset niche. Focusing on the positive contributions that blockchain can have to advance sustainability, read this year’s report to find out a little more about Zumo and the library of web3 uses cases emerging to tackle environmental challenges.
